We use cookies for core functionality, analytics, and personalisation - and you have controls. This page explains what we use, why we use it, and how to switch it off if you want to.
Cookies are not something we ask you to accept blindly. The sections below explain exactly what we use, why, and how to change your choice. The decision is yours to make - and to change at any time.
Needed to keep you signed in, remember which role you logged in as, and protect against cross-site request forgery. Exempt from the consent requirement under recital 30 of the ePrivacy Directive because the service does not work without them.
What we set: ASP.NET_SessionId (session, HttpOnly), ibmarker_aid (anonymous identifier, 1 year), ibmarker_consent (your choices, in localStorage), OAuth state tokens (session, only during sign-in).
Helps us understand which features are used so we can improve the product. We do not run third-party advertising trackers and we do not sell or share with data brokers.
Lets us email you about new features, study tips, and product updates. Separate from transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing) which we send regardless because they are necessary for the service.
Your decisions are stored only on this browser. When you open iBMarker, the cookie banner appears on your first visit and remembers your decision afterwards. To change it at any time, open the in-app cookies page, click "Open preferences", and adjust the toggles. You can also revoke entirely so the banner re-asks next visit.
The settings page also shows your current cookie state and the version of this policy you agreed to.
You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser:
If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in. Blocking analytics or product-communications cookies is supported and does not affect the core product.
Material changes receive in-app notice and re-prompt for consent before they take effect.
