Early, transparent, actionable. iBMarker translates rubric-level IB assessment data into dynamic university admission probabilities across 200+ global institutions - updated as students learn.
Pathways work like a running tally. Each IB question a student answers feeds a chosen milestone, levels a university badge, and shifts their projected readiness across 200+ institutions.
Student picks a university and a subject-aligned milestone (e.g. MIT - Computer Science) from the Explore tab. Each milestone has its own question count, average-score threshold, and subject mix.
Any rubric-marked question in a relevant subject counts toward the milestone. Only the best score per unique question is kept - so repeating a question can only help, never hurt.
Hit the milestone's question count and average and the university's badge is awarded at Level 1 (Basic). XP is added; any badge combos involving that university are checked.
Re-pursue any milestone at the same university to climb the badge: Basic → Gold → Elite → Master → Platinum → Legendary. Each level needs 20% more questions than the last.
Live-updated entry requirements by total score, subject-specific thresholds, and conditional offers - across four major regions.
Built on rubric data, refined by AI, surfaced through role-aware dashboards - and reinforced by gameplay engagement.
Uses rubric-level performance data throughout IB courses, mapped to subject criteria and criterion-level strengths.
AI translates performance into projected IB score bands with confidence intervals - not single predictions.
Gaming increases practice frequency, improves concept retention, and generates high-resolution data that strengthens predictions.
Role-aware dashboards for students (personal alignment), teachers (cohort trends), and coordinators (aggregated exposure).
Maintains entry requirements by total score, subject-specific thresholds, and conditional-offer modelling.
Most pathway tools wait until final scores. iBMarker forecasts continuously, recalibrating with every assessment and game.
Pathway forecasts update with every formative assessment - students see how today's work shapes tomorrow's options.
Probability ranges that respond to current performance, not static "minimum score" lists. Confidence intervals built in.
Pathway intelligence sits in the same architecture as marking, analytics, and gaming - one data layer, one truth.
Students see their own runway. Teachers see cohort trends. Coordinators see institutional exposure. Same data, three lenses.
Each university gets its own badge that levels up as students prove mastery. Pursue MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton - or any of the universities we track. Each level requires 20% more questions than the last, so the path keeps getting harder.
First completion - base question count.
× 1.2 - second pass, deeper coverage.
× 1.4 - sustained mastery.
× 1.6 - consistent high performance.
× 1.8 - top-tier readiness.
× 2.0 - maximum badge level.
Two mechanics make the system feel fair: badge combos for cross-university achievement, and best-attempt scoring so repetition pays.
Hit specific badge levels at multiple universities to unlock combos with permanent XP bonuses - e.g. Ivy League Trio (Harvard, Yale, Princeton at Level 3+). Recognised cross-university achievement, not just per-school grinding.
Only your highest score for each unique question counts. Practice the same question multiple times - we use your best result. Encourages learning through repetition, not penalties for trying.
Each milestone requires a specific mix of IB subjects - so a Medicine pathway demands strong Bio & Chem, while Engineering leans on Physics & Maths. No fudging the path.
Universities are tiered Elite through Regional - so the badges you earn carry signal about the institution's standard, not just your effort.
Pathway intelligence is part of every iBMarker plan - including the free pilot. Students see admission probabilities update as their IB performance evolves.
